CU student hit by pickup truck on campus

According to the Boulder Police, a University of Colorado at Boulder student was the victim of a pedestrian accident on campus on Tuesday.
Police say that the pedestrian was crossing Regent Drive near Kittredge Loop on foot when a driver of a pickup truck hit him at around 6 p.m. The victim was reported to not be crossing at a crosswalk.
Emergency crews transported the pedestrian to Boulder Community Hospital with head injuries. The victim’s injuries were reported to be serious in nature.
The Boulder Police are investigating the pedestrian accident for a cause.

Seven children hospitalized after bus crash

A two-vehicle accident in Denver caused seven children to be hospitalized.
The accident occurred on Thursday of last week at the intersection of 29th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard. Witnesses to the accident said that the mini-van was backing out of a parking lot onto the roadway when it struck the school bus.
The van then spun around and the tire of the bus fell off causing the bus to stop. No serious injuries were reported, but seven children were taken to the hospital after complaining of injuries.
