The victims range in age from 15-years-old to 18-years old.

A spokesperson for the Colorado State Patrol reported that the three students were walking across a crosswalk when a school bus attempting to turn left hit them. The bus was not carrying any students at the time of the accident, and officials believe that it had a green light. However, a witness to the accident said that the teens had a walk signal when they crossed.

The witness also said that after the accident the bus driver seemed to be in shock because they did not get out to help the injured teens. Other drivers and witnesses helped the students while they waited for paramedics to arrive. All three of the victims were taken to St. Anthony’s Central hospital and were listed as being in moderate condition.

If you or a loved one has been injured in a pedestrian accident, contact the Denver pedestrian accident attorneys of Hull & Zimmerman, P.C. at 303-423-1770 to learn more about receiving compensation for your injuries.

2 killed in plane accident in Hayden

Denver airplane accident attorneys

Denver airplane accident lawyers

Yesterday, two people were killed in a plane accident in Hayden. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of a 31-year-old man who was shot by a state trooper.

According to the suit, in the summer of 2010, the victim was returning home to his apartment from a trip on the Colorado River. In an attempt to back his jet ski into his driveway, the watercraft fell into his neighbor’s yard. The lawn suffered minor property damage, and the neighbor called police to report the incident.

After moving the jet ski into his driveway, the victim went into his apartment. When police received the report from the neighbor, they assumed that the man may have been drunk, and two troopers and the sergeant went to his apartment without a warrant in an attempt to test his blood alcohol level. The 31-year-old refused to open the door completely because the police did not have a warrant, and the troopers began to try to break the door down.

As the victim was peeking around the door to speak with police, one of the troopers sprayed him with mace. While the other trooper went around the back of the apartment, the door opened a little more, and the trooper shot the man. The judge determined that because the sergeant did not do anything to prevent the troopers from doing what they did, he “directly facilitated and contributed to the warrantless search and use of force.”

Evidence from cell phones being used in divorce trials

Denver divorce attorneys

Denver divorce lawyers

Recent research reveals that 90 percent of divorce lawyers agree that the use of evidence from cell phones is increasing and becoming more important in divorce cases . Dyer is known for being an animal lover, even hosting a weekly segment that features animals from the Denver zoo called “Kyle’s Kritters.”

The story featured the dog, a firefighter who had recently rescued the animal from a freezing lake, and its owner. During the segment, Dyer bent down to get closer to the dog, and it bit her in the face.

People on the news set said the dog had been fine interacting with everyone before the segment. The animal was quarantined after the attack, and its owner has been cited for a violation of leash laws and for not having the proper vaccinations for his dog. After a 10-day evaluation, officials will determine whether the dog can return to its owner.

Paramedics rushed Dyer from the studio to the hospital for treatment. The news anchor’s injuries needed overnight reconstructive surgery.
