Mike has both a bachelor’s degree and a juris doctorate from the University of Denver. After he completed his education in 1985, he worked as an insurance defense attorney. Though he found the education he received from the insurance industry invaluable, he was dissatisfied working against the needs of injured people. He joined Hull & Zimmerman in 1992 to pursue his goal of helping the injured and disabled receive legal assistance.
Mike uses his trial advocacy and litigation skills to seek compensation for clients injured at work or because of someone else’s negligence, or for clients seeking benefits from the Social Security Administration.
Mike has served as an adjunct professor of trial advocacy at the University of Denver College of law and is an active member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the Worker’s Compensation Education Association and the Colorado Bar Association.
