A Denver police officer was injured after being involved in a car accident on East Colfax Avenue.
According to the Denver Police Department spokesperson, the accident occurred when the police officer’s car collided with another vehicle around 2:20 p.m.
The police officer was taken to the hospital as a result of the accident, but there were no other injuries. Police did not release any other information about the extent of the officer’s injuries or details of the accident.
