Man in critical condition after ATV accident…  

A man is in critical condition in Denver Health hospital after being involved in an ATV accident on Monday.According to Boulder County officials, the accident occurred on U.S. Forest Service Road 286C in a area that is designated for four wheelers. The man was alone when the accident occurred and was later found by two people that were passing by.One of them stayed with him, while the other went to get help. A helicopter than lifted him to the hospital where he remains in critical condition.Our thoughts are with the friends and family of the victim at this time.

A suspected drunk driver slammed into a truck that was pulled over on the side of the interstate while attempting to help a pedestrian.According to Colorado Springs Police, the accident occurred around 2 a.m. on I-25 when a 26-year-old man pulled over on the side to help a pedestrian and a 30-year-old driver struck the back of his truck.Police arrested the driver for suspicion of driving under the influence and booked him in jail for charges of DUI and vehicular assault. A Denver family is focusing on changing laws in the area so that people who flee the scene of an accident will face prison time.The family is pushing this after a hit-and-run accident left their youngest brother with a serious brain injury and the driver was only sentenced to probation. The driver did not receive incarceration because he was allegedly unable to care for himself.The accident occurred in October as the driver struck the victim and his friend while they were crossing a crosswalk in a neighborhood park. The 21-year-old driver had no previous criminal record and was sentenced to four years probation, six months work-release jail program and 300 hours of community service.Our thoughts are with the family of the injured man.

Four people injured in rollover accident…  

A teenager and her four passengers were injured in an SUV rollover car accident while driving on County Road 411.According to Colorado State Patrol, the 17-year-old driver skidded out of control after trying to negotiate a series of curves. The car then struck an embankment on the side of the road causing it to flip and roll over.All of the girls were between the age 15 and 17 and three of the them, including the driver, were not wearing seat belts.  One teen suffered serious injury as a result of the accident. The driver was cited for careless driving that caused serious injury, allowing passengers to not wear seat belts and driving without insurance.Our thoughts are with the injured victims during their recovery.

Motorcycle accident seriously injures Colorado man…  

A Colorado man was sent to the hospital after a motorcycle accident in Warsaw.According to officials, the accident occurred at the intersection of Frontage Road and Eastlake Drive when the motorcyclist was traveling west and left the road for unknown reasons.After going off the side of the road, he struck a sign and a fence before coming to a stop. He was thrown from the motorcycle and transported to a Fort Wayne hospital where he is now listed in serious condition.Our thoughts are with the friends and family of the victims at this time.

According to Colorado State Patrol, a truck accident occurred on I-25 and caused one fatality.Four vehicles were involved in the accident and it began when the semi- truck was experiencing mechanical difficulties and the driver attempted to move the left shoulder. An SUV behind the truck hit the trailer causing the driver to be ejected from the vehicle.The 19-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other cars were caught up in the accident when they were unable to avoid striking the SUV. Two other people were injured in the accident, but their injuries were non-life threatening.Our thoughts are with the friends and family of the victim.

Small plane crash occurs in Falcon…  

A small plane crash occurred at the Meadow Lake Airport in Falcon last week, luckily no serious injuries were sustained.The 72-year-old pilot was flying a 1978 Piper Tomahawk when he attempted to land it, but it flipped over and landed on its roof. The man was able to get out of the plane after it crashed and was standing next to it when emergency crews arrived at the scene.He was the only person in the plane during the crash. The Federal Aviation Administration is currently investigating the accident at this time. Chain-reaction accident kills one, injures another…  

One person was killed and another was seriously injured after chain-reaction car accident in Adams County.The accident occurred near East 70th Avenue when a Ford pickup truck crossed the center line and side swiped an oncoming semi-trailer. After this collision, another car tried to avoid the accident and swerved into a westbound lane causing it to collide with a sand truck.The sand truck then lost control, flipped over the guardrail and rolled down an embankment. The male driver of the red car was pronounced dead at the scene and the semi-trailer driver was seriously injured. The accident is currently still under investigation at this time.

Denver police look for truck in accident…  

Denver police are currently looking for a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run accident on 11th Avenue and Speed Blvd.According to the call to police, the accident occurred as the driver of a cement truck side-swiped a car and knocked off the side mirrors. Witnesses were unable to give any other identifying features on the truck. Colorado man killed in Arizona motorcycle accident…  

According to Arizona Department of Public Safety, a 75-year-old man was pronounced dead after a head-on motorcycle collision on Highway 89A.The accident occurred as the man and two other motorcyclists were heading down the road to Sedona when his motorcycle collided with a car that they were allegedly racing.One other cyclist was injured and one escaped injury. The driver of the other vehicle was an 18-year-old male and officials have said that he could possibly face charges as a result.
