According to Colorado State Patrol, a truck accident occurred on I-25 and caused one fatality.
Four vehicles were involved in the accident and it began when the semi- truck was experiencing mechanical difficulties and the driver attempted to move the left shoulder. An SUV behind the truck hit the trailer causing the driver to be ejected from the vehicle.
The 19-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other cars were caught up in the accident when they were unable to avoid striking the SUV. Two other people were injured in the accident, but their injuries were non-life threatening.
