1 killed, 2 injured in CO Springs motorcycle accid…  

Friday, a tragic hit-and-run motorcycle accident occurred in Colorado Springs at around 10 P.M.According to reports, a 19-year old soldier was riding a motorcycle with two friends on another motorcycle on Rangewood Drive when the accident happened.  As the motorcycles were traveling south, a metallic green sedan turned left in front of them.  Both motorcycles crashed into the passenger side of the van.  The driver of the sedan fled the scene of the accident.All three motorcyclists were taken to a nearby hospital.  The soldier later passed away from the injuries he incurred in the motorcycle accident.Our utmost sympathies go out to the victim's family and friends during this difficult time.

Study shows long commutes increase risk of divorce…

Four Loko maker sued for wrongful death…  

The family of a 15-year old boy who was killed after an evening of drinking Four Lokos has filed suit against the drink's maker, Phusion Projects.  Four Loko products have often been criticized for combining high amounts of caffeine and alcohol.  The combination desensitizes consumers to the affects of alcohol.The wrongful death lawsuit says the company was "careless and negligent" for creating such a dangerous beverage and marketing it towards young audiences.  The 15-year old was able to purchase two Four Lokos at a convenience store in the fall of 2010.  He drank the caffeinated, alcoholic beverages at a concert and began acting "erratic and agitated."The boy's mother was called by concert venue officials to pick him up.  On their way home, the teen got out of the car and took off running.  The 15-year old ran into a busy highway and was struck by a car.  The boy passed away the next day.

Motorcyclist killed in Colorado accident…  

Colorado State Patrol have now identified the victim of a motorcycle accident that occurred on Monday.The 54-year-old Loveland resident's motorcycle rear-ended a minivan driven by a 47-year-old man. The accident occurred as both men were traveling westbound on Colorado 30 when the van stopped at a stop sign and the motorcycle hit the back of it.The man was ejected from the motorcycle as a result of the accident and pronounced dead at the scene. Three-car accident claims the life of one…  

A three-car accident off of I-25 claimed that life of one person in Denver.Denver police are now investigating the incident in order to decide what caused the fatal crash. Three other people were injured in the incident and taken to the Denver Health Medical Center to be treated.According to officials, two sport utility vehicles and another passenger car were involved in the accident. The woman who was killed was driving the car, she was 31 years old. The northbound lanes of I-25 near the accident were closed for five hours while crews investigated.Our thoughts are with the friends and family of the victims at this time.

Denver has tied with Philadelphia for eighth place on the list of cities with the "top dog attacks." The list is compiled by the U.S. Postal Service on the number of attacks on letter carriers each year.Houston is the top city for dogs who attack mail carriers each year. Last year, there were 62 reported attacks on mail carriers. Two killed in car accident on Highway 160…  

Two people were killed in a car accident on Highway 160 near  La Veta.According to Colorado State Troopers,a woman was heading westbound down than road and traveling at a high speed when she attempted to pass a vehicle in a no-pass zone.A 59-year-old man was traveling east carrying a horse trailer when the two vehicles collided. Both drivers were killed as a result of the accident. A passenger in the eastbound vehicle was transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries and the horse was not injured.Our thoughts and condolences are with the friends and family of the victim.

Dietary supplements recalled after packaging issue…
