Tomatoes involved in recall due to salmonella scare

Taylor Farms Pacific has recently announced a recall of grape tomatoes after it was found that they may have been contaminated with salmonella.

The recall was announced on Monday and stated that 29 different brands of packaged salads that were sold at Albertson’s, Sam’s Club, Savemart, Wal-Mart, Signature Cafe, and Raley’s should be removed from shelves.

The products should have an expiration date anywhere between April 27 and May 9. This recall affects 13 states including California, Montana, Nebraska, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, Wyoming, and Arizona. Consumers are urged to return the recalled product to the store that it was purchased from.
