This weekend, the Winter X Games were held in Aspen, and snowboarder Shaun White became the first person ever to be given a perfect 100 score in the Men’s Snowboard Superpipe finals. White won the competition’s Superpipe gold medal.
In addition, White became the first Winter X Games competitor to land a frontside double cork 1260. This year was the fifth consecutive year White took the gold medal in the Winter X Games Superpipe.
Kelly Clark won the Women’s Snowboard Superpipe competition with a score of 93.66. The Winter X Games also includes skiing and snowmobile events.
