Serial Drunk Driver on Trial for Deadly CrashOn September 30, 2018, 25-year-old Angela Wimmer stopped at a stoplight at the intersection of West Colfax Avenue and Kipling Street on her way home from church. Suddenly, she was hit from behind by a suspected drunk driver. The collision pushed her car into oncoming traffic, where she was hit by three other vehicles. A new study puts a different spin on distracted driving, with a conclusion that in-vehicle technology may be even more dangerous than cell phone use—not that cell phone use is not still considered extremely dangerous while you are driving.
