School bus strikes 3 teenage students in Jefferson…  
Yesterday afternoon, three teenage students were injured in a pedestrian accident involving a school bus in Jefferson County. The victims range in age from 15-years-old to 18-years old.A spokesperson for the Colorado State Patrol reported that the three students were walking across a crosswalk when a school bus attempting to turn left hit them. The bus was not carrying any students at the time of the accident, and officials believe that it had a green light. However, a witness to the accident said that the teens had a walk signal when they crossed.The witness also said that after the accident the bus driver seemed to be in shock because they did not get out to help the injured teens. Other drivers and witnesses helped the students while they waited for paramedics to arrive. Early this morning, 2 people were injured in a pedestrian accident in Colorado Springs, according to the city's police department. The accident occurred at the 1800 block of Dominion Way, shortly before 1:30 a.m.3 people were walking westbound on the sidewalk along Dominion Way, when a 23-year old driver, also traveling westbound, ran off the road. The vehicle veered off of the right side of the road and onto the sidewalk, hitting 2 of the pedestrians.The driver continued driving, striking a light post, until he realized his car had caught fire. Police arrived at the scene of the accident and arrested the 23-year old. Officers reported that alcohol played a role in the accident.One of the pedestrians, a 45-year old man, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, including a head injury. Local doctor and professor arrested for fatal hit …  
A local doctor at Centennial Medical Plaza, Medical Center of Aurora, and Sky Ridge Medical Center, who is also an assistant professor at University of Colorado in Denver, turned himself in last week in connection to a fatal hit and run.The 40 year-old man is charged with leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in death and reckless driving resulting in death.According to witness statements, a 55 year-old man who exited a bus was crossing the street and stopped in the yellow median lane waiting for cars to pass when allegedly the doctor's gold SUV hit him and continued to drive away.The man was knocked into the busy street where he was hit by another car and dragged for several blocks before witnesses were able to get the car to stop.

Denver police are currently searching for a driver involved in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident that occurred this morning.The accident occurred in a parking lot at Federal Boulevard and W. 12th Avenue. at about 9:35 a.m. According to the Denver police, the victim of the accident was walking across the Denver Human Services Building parking lot when a car that was backing up struck him and proceeded to run him over.The driver, who was driving a two-tone silver and green or blue Mitsubishi Montero, fled the scene of the accident. Colorado Springs family hit by car while trick-or-…  
Earlier this week on Halloween, a Colorado Springs family was hit by a car while trick-or-treating. The accident occurred Monday afternoon at around 3:45 p.m. in Colorado Springs at the intersection of Academy Boulevard and Parkmoor Village Drive.According to the Colorado Springs Police, the family of three was hit in an area where pedestrians have the right of way. The two parents were pulling their 4-year old daughter in a wagon across a crosswalk at the intersection when an Oldsmobile traveling on Parkmoor turned left onto Academy and hit the family.The 4-year old girl suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
