Denver police are currently searching for a driver involved in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident that occurred this morning.
The accident occurred in a parking lot at Federal Boulevard and W. 12th Avenue. at about 9:35 a.m. According to the Denver police, the victim of the accident was walking across the Denver Human Services Building parking lot when a car that was backing up struck him and proceeded to run him over.
The driver, who was driving a two-tone silver and green or blue Mitsubishi Montero, fled the scene of the accident. The victim of the accident was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
