A 7-year-old girl was struck by a car after she got off of the school bus and crossed in front of traffic.
The accident occurred on Lakeview Avenue in front of Corwin International Magnet School and the young girl’s mother witnessed the accident as she waited for her daughter at the bus stop.
Police have said that they do not think that the car was traveling very fast, but the speed of the car is unknown at this time. The car driver has not been charged in the accident and police do not believe that he be.
