Last month, a Colorado Springs woman was identified as a person who was killed in a boating accident in the Elevenmile Reservoir. The 62-year old woman was found shortly after someone found a capsized boat in the reservoir.
Officials are unsure of what caused the 16-foot aluminum boat to capsize, but investigators are looking into the accident. The woman was spotted with a man on the boat the evening before the boat was found. A man’s body was not found.
The man is suspected to be the woman’s husband and a former mayoral candidate.
