1 killed 2 injured in 2-vehicle accident in Elizabeth
Last Tuesday, a tragic 2-vehicle accident in the town of Elizabeth, Colorado, left 1 person dead and 2 others injured.
The accident occurred on County Road 21 at around 2 p.m., according to Elizabeth Fire Department officials. The Colorado State Patrol is investigating the accident, but believes that a 1996 Buick Century carrying 3 Elizabeth High School students collided with a Jeep at the intersection of County Road 154.
The driver of the Buick, 18, was transported to Littleton Adventist Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. A 16-year-old in the vehicle was flown to Swedish Medical Center, but her condition was not reported. A third passenger in the vehicle, 17, was killed in the accident.
